Welcome to the Office for Hispanic Initiatives
In support of Montclair State University’s status as a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI), the Office for Hispanic Initiatives is dedicated to upholding the university’s allegiance to promoting an inclusive environment to support the success of all students, faculty and staff. These commitments also include support of scholarship and teaching to further our knowledge and understanding about Hispanics in New Jersey and the U.S. as an integral and vital component of the American social fabric, as well as to strengthen relationships with local families and communities.
The Office for Hispanic Initiatives has been led by Dr. Katia Paz Goldfarb, Associate Provost for Hispanic Initiatives since 2018. Montclair State University was designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution in 2016. We welcome students, families, colleagues and community members to visit this page regularly to learn more about programs, events, scholarships, grants and more.
If you would like to contact us, please call the office at 973-655-7489 or email us at hispanicsatmsu@montclair.edu without hesitation!
