Project Overview

This project aims to create an initial, user-friendly training curriculum for the Workday Student System, which will go live in 2027. The focus is on addressing stakeholder concerns, bridging knowledge gaps, and ensuring early preparedness with foundational training materials.

Project Goals and Objectives

  • Developing an Intuitive, Multi-Modal Training Curriculum: Creating structured materials for diverse learning styles, incorporating video tutorials, interactive guides, hands-on exercises, and modular content, all designed with evidence-based instructional principles.
  • Enhancing Training Accessibility and Usability: Ensuring materials are user-friendly and inclusive for students, faculty, and staff, regardless of technical proficiency.
  • Understanding Stakeholder Needs: Conducting assessments to identify challenges with the current system and key improvements for the new Workday Student System, ensuring training addresses these concerns.
  • Creating Role-Specific Training Pathways: Developing tailored instructional materials for faculty, staff, and administrators to streamline learning and focus on relevant functionalities.
  • Establishing a Train-the-Trainer Program: Empowering departmental representatives to disseminate Workday Student System knowledge within their units for sustainable knowledge transfer.
