First-Gen Support Group (Drop-In)
- A support group for first generation college students aimed to help ensure that First-Gen students are empowered and prepared to reach their full social, professional, and academic potential. Students will have opportunities to build community, empower and support one another through shared experiences with topics that may include, but not limited to lack of knowledge about college experience/resources, imposter syndrome, financial and family stress, academic struggles and other challenging subject matters.
- Wednesdays 2-3pm, Student Center, Room 421
First to Finish
- A discussion group hosted by the Office of Social Justice and Diversity for first-generation undergraduate students at Montclair State University. First-generation students are students whose parents do not have college degrees.
- Biweekly sessions are hosted on Thursday’s, 4-5pm., Student Center, Room 417.
