Advising Students in the Age of COVID: How Do I Do That?

For students, receiving academic advice from their faculty is as important as ever, though students may be putting these “visits” off during this difficult time. It is hard to feel like planning for the future, yet that’s exactly what students need to do as the semester winds down. Danielle Insalaco-Egan and Courtney Cunningham will provide a 30 minute presentation on strategies for faculty to use to successfully reach out to students, conduct advising sessions, and capture notes. The second half of the session will be open to faculty Q&A and discussion so that we can work through advising challenges.
