February 3 -7: Dr. Elizabeth Erwin to Present at Summit on Preschool Mindfulness

Dr. Elizabeth Erwin, Professor in the Teaching and Learning Department, will present at “Breathe in Blue Skies”: A Deeper Inquiry into Mindfulness and Early Childhood Education, an Online Summit on Preschool Mindfulness.
This online forum features over 25 experts and practitioners who share tools and solutions on topics such as self-care and compassion for adults, neuroscience and emotions, mindfulness practices for children, and much more. Registration is required for this Preschool Mindfulness Summit, which is free of charge while it is live, from February 3-7, 2020. In the past 25 years, the commitment to educational equity in early childhood has been at the heart of Dr. Erwin’s teaching, advocacy, and research. Her specializations include inclusive teaching, reflective inquiry, mindfulness practices, and self-determination and young children with disabilities. In addition to this upcoming online summit, Dr. Erwin will also be facilitating a 10-day excursion to Bali for an In-Depth Study Group: Deepening a Reflective Practice within the Ancient and Magical Lands of Bali. This retreat will take place in Spring 2020.
