Air Permit

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to NJSA 13:1D-157 and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Administrative Order 2021-25 (AO 2021-25), that Montclair State University, which operates its main campus in Montclair, Little Falls and Clifton, NJ, with a mailing address of 1 Normal Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07043, intends to hold a virtual Public Information Session as part of renewing its NJDEP Title V Operating Permit (PI No. 07524.

The University was initially issued a Title V Operating Permit on July 26, 1999 and it has been renewed every 5 years since. Upon final approval, the Title V permit will be renewed for an additional 5 years. Pursuant to AO 2021-25, a public information session will be held virtually on January 25, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The information session will be held via Zoom. To attend the meeting, please register by sending an email request to airpermit@montclair.edu to receive a link for the meeting.

In addition, Montclair State University will accept public comments on the Title V Operating Permit renewal for a sixty-day period starting on December 20, 2022 and concluding on February 25, 2023. Comments can be submitted via electronic mail to airpermit@montclair.edu or via United States Postal Service to:
