Parking Software Upgrade Completed

Posted in: Facilities Staff News & Events, Parking News

Students, Faculty and Staff,

As detailed in an e-mail earlier this semester, Parking Services has been working diligently during the past few months to make substantial upgrades to our parking management system.  We are pleased to announce that the new system went “live” last week and is open and available for your use.  Please read on for some details concerning this important software upgrade.

The new online services will enable faculty, staff, and students to access their personalized parking information within their parking accounts and place items, such as permit purchases or citation payments into their “shopping carts” to pay for them  The new payment gateway, set-up just like the University’s Bursar’s Office to accept payment in the form of MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and e-Checks (checking/saving accounts), provides a secure, PCI-compliant payment environment.

Please note that with these upgrades to our software, a few other changes have been made:

  • Similar to the University’s Bursar’s Office, credit card payments will no longer be accepted in the office for permit purchases or citation payments.  (Please note, however, that Visa and MasterCard will continue to be accepted for short-term parking only in the Red Hawk Deck.) To learn more about the new payment structure online, please see the Frequently Asked Questions here: http://www.montclair.edu/parking/faq-flex.pdf

We are excited about the newly upgraded software system and accompanying web-based features.   We thank you for your patience during the upgrade process and we look forward to serving your parking-related needs.
