Montclair State University Awarded Certificate of Environmental Stewardship from NJDEP
On May 6, 2008, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection conducted a facilities inspection at Montclair State University.

The NJDEP has determined that the University was engaged in or had completed activities eligible for recognition under its new Environmental Steward initiative. As a result, the voluntary and proactive measures the University has taken in an effort to improve the environment have been formally recognized with a Certificate of Stewardship reflecting the DEP’s appreciation of our efforts.
