Parking Information for Convocations

Convocation ceremonies are scheduled to begin Sunday, May 18, 2014. Parking Services is working to ensure that there is ample parking for our graduates, families and guests. As in years past, we will be closing certain parking locations and ask that faculty and staff please note the following closures and plan accordingly:

Closing Thursday, May 15, 2014 beginning at 11:00 p.m.:

• Lot 3, Lot 7, Lot 25, and Lot 42

Closing Friday, May 16, 2014 beginning at 10:00 p.m.:

• Red Hawk Deck – Montclair State employees and students who typically park in the Red Hawk Deck are asked to please park in the CarParc Diem Deck or in the surface lots in that vicinity of campus. Shuttle Service will be increased to provide more frequent transportation from these locations.
• Lot 8

We expect to reopen the Red Hawk Deck and the surface lots identified above at the conclusion of the Convocation programs at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. However, if there is a need to utilize May 21 or May 22 as rain dates, the closures will be extended accordingly.
