Academic Programs
Our ENTR courses are open to all Montclair State undergraduate students, in every academic program. Our curriculum is founded on the core principle that problem-solving and creativity — and the ability to shape your creative ideas into successful opportunities — is the key to success in any field.
Our students are budding actors, designers, teachers, scientists, inventors and accountants — anyone can be an entrepreneur. Classes are interactive and hands on, with leadership and direction from instructors plus visits from successful entrepreneurs. In our courses, you’ll meet other students whose passions—from creating a new killer app to starting an all-night cookie delivery service—will lead to new innovations and productive partnerships.
As Meghan, a graphic design major, put it: “This program is totally different than anything else you’ll take at Montclair State. It really challenges your way of thinking.” Up to the challenge? Learn about our Concentration in Entrepreneurship (coming fall 2018), Minor in Entrepreneurship, Certificate of Entrepreneurship and Certificate of Innovation Design and Digitally Mediated Making.
