Lamborghini, free pizza contest comes to Student Center quad Sept. 8
Posted in: Uncategorized
One lucky Montclair State student will win a free semester of pizza when a pizza-covered Lamborghini rolls into the Student Center quad on Tues. Sept. 8, approximately 11:30 a.m. The free-pizza prize, known as the “Pizza Scholarship,” equates to a $20 credit each week for 16 weeks at a local pizza parlor. The contest is run by Push for Pizza, a pie-ordering app created by Cyrus Summerlin and Max Hellerstein when they were recently students at MIT.
The pizza Lamborghini is touring college campuses across the country this school year. Students can take selfies next to the Lamborghini…or a 7-foot-tall pizza slice mascot that is part of the event.
The event is organized by the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship.
Up to 600 students will receive a free slice of pizza as part of the festivities. To enter the Pizza Scholarship contest and get a free slice, students will need to provide an email address at the table in the quad where the Lamborghini will be. The free slice of pizza can be claimed outside the office of the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship, in the new School of Business building (south side of the building, near the soccer field). While you’re there, stop in and see the Feliciano Center office, where our funky furniture offers a great place to collaborate with other students.
“What’s the catch?” one student asked, about the Pizza Scholarship and free slice of pizza. Nothing! All you have to do is show up in the quad and provide an email address.
