We always love to see our ENTR students receive recognition for what they are doing. The latest example is this NJBIZ story featuring Ashley Zahabian, who received our Certificate of Entrepreneurship in 2014. In the story, Zahabian, a junior Economics major, gives tips for entrepreneurs about the importance of validating their ideas with potential customers. As Zahabian said: “Your opinion is not enough, and it never will be. Many businesses fail due to lack of perception and awareness of what the markets want. Our opinions do not decipher what the market wants — we have to ask our markets directly.”

The importance of customer validation is just one topic we teach in ENTR 201 “Entrepreneurial Mindset and Innovation.”
