Date Night for Startups and Entrepreneurs

You’ve heard about, or maybe even done, speed dating for your love life. But next week, you have a chance to participate in a Date Night for startups and entrepreneurs.
Officially titled “Cofounder Date Night,” the event on Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Somerset is for startup founders who are looking for a developer co-founder, or a developer looking for an interesting company.
The format will start with 3-minute overviews by developers, which is a great opportunity to brag a little and make members aware of your experiences and interest. Following the developers will be 3-minute pitches by founders who are looking for a CTO or equity developer. This is a founder’s big opportunity to get a hot-shot developer excited about their project.
This event is a merge of another sort: several Meetups in New Jersey are collaborating on this event, including NJ Entrepreneurs & Technology Startups Meetup run by Juice Tank, Madison Tech Meetup, Raritan Valley Startups and Entrepreneurs, Scarlet Startups, and our Meetup group, Montclair Entrepreneurs.
The event is at Juice Tank’s office at 220 Davidson Ave., Somerset. Juice Tank will charge you $5 at the door which will entitle you to food and beer/wine. A cheap date, huh?
