New Publications from English Alumni

Drew Ciccolo (2012) has had his short story “The Behemoth” selected by Lev Grossman for a special issue of The Masters Review: The Best Stories from Students in Graduate-Level Creative Writing Programs. Drew was a creative writing minor at MSU and received his MFA from Rutgers-Newark. Another story of his, “The Leash,” is forthcoming from Tin House this December.

Mia Siegert (2010) has just had her first novel, Jerkbait, accepted by Jolly Fish Press and is represented by the Knight Agency. Mia was a creative writing concentrator at MSU and received her MFA from Goddard. Excerpts from a novel in progress, Outgrown Horses, have appeared in Word Riot, Clapboard House, and Limn Literary & Arts Journal.
