A Life in Writing: Alumni and Award-Winning Journalist Leon Zimmerman Returns to Campus

Sixty-nine years after graduating from Montclair State University, Leon Zimmerman ’59 returns to reflect on his life as a writer. A member of the Harness Racing Communicators Hall of Fame and honored by the American Political Science Association in 1969 for “Distinguished Reporting of Public Affairs,” Zimmerman has had a successful career writing about sports and politics.
Zimmerman will return to campus on Wednesday, September 18 to talk about his experiences after graduation before taking questions from the audience.
