Two Short Stories Published by Creative Writing Professor Janis Hubschman

Creative Writing instructor Janis Hubschman recently published two short stories. “Wild Quaker Parrot” was published in the Cimarron Review and “Please See Me” was published in the Chautauqua Journal.
Janis Hubschman teaches fiction writing at Montclair State University. Her stories have appeared in Southern Humanities Review, West Branch, Michigan Quarterly Review, Colorado Review, StoryQuarterly, Pleiades, Green Mountains Review and elsewhere. Her stories have won first place in the Glimmer Train’s Fiction Open contest and Bellingham Review’s Tobias Wolff Award. Her work has been supported with the Bread Loaf-Rona Jaffe Fiction Scholarship and a fellowship from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She has served on the admissions board of the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference.
