Alumna Kristen Bryfogle Selected as a Rhodes Scholar Finalist

Montclair State alumna Kristen Bryfogle ’16, who received her B.A. as a double-major in English and Classics and as a member of the university’s prestigious Honors Program, has been selected a finalist for the Rhodes Scholarship, widely regarded as the oldest and most prestigious post-graduate scholarship in the world. In her time at Montclair State, among her many achievements, Kristen served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Montclarion and received the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Outstanding Academic Achievement and Service Award, the highest academic award given by the College to no more than one or two undergraduates per year at the time of graduation. Kristen currently works as a Latin teacher at the Trenton STEM-to-Civics Charter School. Her finalist interview for the Rhodes Scholarship will take place this coming November 18-19, in Manhattan.
