Place An Order On E-Cater
- Before placing your food service order in E-Cater, please be sure you have reserved space on campus for your event through the Engage platform.
- If your student organization is an RSO registered with SGA and you are intending to use SGA funds to pay for catering service, please be sure you have completed the funding request process and received written confirmation from SGA in advance.
- Catering orders must be placed at least five business days in advance of the event and to the corresponding campus, where the event is taking place and using corresponding E-Cater website.
Rules for Serving Food On Campus
Gourmet is the University’s exclusive catering provider and must be used for any food service on campus for gatherings that are open to the public or the campus community at large. Gourmet provides many budget-friendly options for student organizations, including discounted pricing for pick up orders, and a special menu for student organization events.

Place A Catering Order
Montclair Campus
- Catering orders should be placed at least five days in advance of the event date. Please email or call Catering Services for orders to be placed within five days of the event date.
- A University purchase order is required in advance for any catering services requested to occur on the Montclair campus. Purchase orders for Montclair Campus catering will only be issued through the E-Cater Punch Out Catalog Process in Workday.

Bloomfield Campus
A University purchase order is required in advance, for any catering services that are requested to occur on the Bloomfield campus. Purchase orders for Bloomfield Campus catering services will be issued through the typical Workday requisition lifecycle process.
