Darwin Day Celebration
Funded by Madelon Wehner, students presented posters of their research and the day concluded with a lecture given by Eric Wieschaus, Nobel Laureate.

The Department of Biology and the College of Science and Mathematics celebrated Darwin’s Birthday with outstanding student research presentations and a guest lecture from a Nobel Prize winning Geneticist, Dr. Eric Wieschaus of Princeton University. The event was supported by generous funding from Madelon Wehner, an alum of the University. These funds support student independent research scholarships and the Wehner Symposium, providing a platform for interaction with recognized scholars in the field of Biology.
