College of Science and Mathematics Holds Convocation Ceremony

Montclair State University’s College of Science and Mathematics held its Convocation ceremony on Tuesday, May 19 at the University’s Sprague Field. 403 candidates are set to receive baccalaureate degrees from the College and many of them – together with family and friends – were present for the event.
Anthony Scriffignano ’82, ’85 MS, senior vice president, chief data scientist for worldwide data and insight at Dun & Bradstreet delivered the keynote address and was presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award.
With College of Science and Mathematics Dean Robert Prezant presiding and providing the closing remarks, the ceremony featured words of greeting from President Susan A. Cole, the senior address, delivered by Mollie Rosenkrantz, and presentation of the Outstanding Student Awards.
The candidates’ degrees will be conferred at the 2015 Commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 20 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
