The Montclair State University Westerdahl Fellowship supports full-time doctoral studies in Mathematics Education at Montclair State University.
The Fellowship provides full tuition and a stipend of $25,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. Westerdahl Fellows work with faculty and peers as they gain valuable research and teaching experiences while completing a doctoral degree.
The Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis to applicants with financial need. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate both a strong potential for scholarly work in mathematics education and a passion for mathematics teaching and learning.
Applications for AY 2019-2020 will be considered through February 15, 2019. To apply for the Fellowship, submit an online application for admission through the Graduate School, indicating an interest in an assistantship.
