Living In Color

Living in Color is a discussion group for Students of Color to share their life experiences and support one another in coping with stress related to school, family, and relationships; building resilience and confidence; and overcoming obstacles in order to reach one’s personal, academic, and professional goals. This is a safe, confidential, and supportive space to discuss challenges related to microaggressions, racism, and intergenerational trauma, in order to feel empowered, seen, and heard.

Group meets on Tuesdays, 3-4pm in the Student Center 421

Co-leaders: Sudha Wadhwani (CAPS) and Arian Craig (Dean of Students Office)

Joining the group requires a commitment to attend weekly. Students will be accepted on a rolling basis until the group is filled. For more information or to schedule a pre-group meeting, please email Sudha Wadhwani at wadhwanis@montclair.edu and/or Arian Craig at craiga@montclair.edu
