Self-Defense Training and Group Counseling for Women with a History of Trauma

- This self-defense/group counseling program is being offered as part of an ongoing research initiative and program to help women with a history of sexual and physical trauma.
- This class will meet on the Main Campus for eight weeks on Tuesdays 4:00pm – 8:15pm starting on September 27th. Each class will consist of three hours of self-defense training and one hour of group counseling.
- To be eligible for this program, you must be a female student currently enrolled at Montclair State University who is 18 years of age or older. You will first meet with Dr. Weinberg and Dr. Vogel-Davis to find out if this program is right for you. Participants in the program will be invited to participate in a research study which will involve completing pre and post surveys.
