The Mission of the Montclair State University Center for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is to provide outstanding clinical education for our Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology students and to serve the needs of individuals at Montclair State University and the surrounding communities.
The purpose of the Center is to:
- Develop professionals who will meet the healthcare needs of the tri-state area through prevention, assessment and management of speech-language differences or disorders and disorders of hearing and balance in children, adolescents and adults from diverse populations;
- Conduct clinically based research to advance knowledge and develop remediation strategies for individuals who are challenged by communication disorders;
- Provide educational and clinical services to the University and the surrounding communities.
