Invited presentation at the at the Road to Recovery conference at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia given by Dr. Mary Boyle

Mary Boyle, Ph.D., Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders, gave an invited presentation, "Word Retrieval Rehabilitation in Adult Stroke Survivors: Research Strategies and Findings", at the Road to Recovery conference at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on 11/18/17. Evidence of successful treatment approaches for childhood survivors of stroke is lacking. The conference convened a panel of experts to discuss treatment options that have been successful with adults and that might be useful in the pediatric stroke population, with a goal of identifying research opportunities that could address these issues.
