On a beautiful and chilly Sunday morning in October, the "MSU Audiology Super Hear-Oes" participated in the 2014 Walk4Hearing, held at Mercer County Park West in West Windsor NJ. The Walk4Hearing events are fundraising 5K walks held nationwide with thousands of walkers raising awareness for hearing loss. This event was the perfect fit for the Montclair State University Audiology Doctoral Program students, led by team Captain Holly Lovering and joined by almost 30 "Super Hear-Oes".

Since its formation in 2006, Walk4Hearing has grown into the largest awareness and fundraising event for the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). Walk4Hearing educates the general public about hearing loss while easing the associated stigma. Striving to make hearing loss a public health issue, thousands of people of all ages, races, and backgrounds come together to display their compassion for the cause and to make hearing loss an issue of national concern.
