Dr. Mogila receives $31,128 equipment grant

Posted in: Communication Sciences Disorders

Dr. Faith Mogila, a clinical preceptor in the Audiology Doctoral program, was awarded a $31,128 equipment grant from the Oticon Foundation. The grant provides state-of-the-art audiometric and electrophysiologic equipment that will be used in clinical research and training. One piece of equipment, the Interacoustics Eclipse, uses a novel chirp stimulus and is only one of two that are currently in use in research in the country. Montclair State University is serving as a site at which normative data will be collected using this novel approach to electrophysiologic assessment of the auditory system. Dr. Mogila graduated from the Montclair State University Audiology program in 2008.
