Dr. Lesley Sylvan and Dr. Joan Besing both featured in ASHA Leader Newsmagazine

Two faculty members, Dr. Joan Besing and Dr. Lesley Sylvan, from the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders were featured in the December 2019 issue ASHA Leader. The ASHA Leader is the official news magazine of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); a periodical reaching more than 198,000 ASHA members. Dr. Besing authored an article discussing New Jersey’s achievement of single licensure for dispensing audiologists and the advocacy efforts that now allow audiologists to dispense hearing aids with their audiology license.
