The purpose of the workshop, titled “Treating Children and Adolescents who Stutter,” was to spread best practices and increase clinical skills for participants in order to improve outcomes for the global community of people who stutter. Specific goals included increasing participants’ knowledge and skills in conducting multidimensional assessment, and developing appropriate treatment plans, activities, and goals for individuals who stutter. The workshop was held at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia from July 23-27.
