Anna Cosgrove Receives Prestigious T35 Summer Research Fellowship

Congratulations to Anna Cosgrove, a doctoral student in audiology, who was recently awarded a T35 Traineeship* to conduct research this summer working with Dr. Gabrielle Saunders at the National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research in Portland, Oregon.

She will be working on a study examining the role of the use of personal amplifiers on the results from cognitive assessments used with patients who have hearing loss.

*The T35 program is a highly competitive prestigious three month summer research traineeship award held at four different research-intensive institutions within the United States.  The program is funded by the National Institutes of Health, and is designed to encourage audiology students to pursue careers in research.   In this program, Anna is matched with a research mentor, and will devote her summer pursuing a research project on a full-time basis.  Anna will also attend weekly journal clubs, research seminars, and will attend courses on responsible conduct in research.
