Congratulations to Katherine Kleban who was awarded the 2013 Audiology/Hearing Science Research Travel Award (ARTA) to attend the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention held in the great city of Chicago, Illinois on November 14-16, 2013.  The ARTA award is for students who are interested in expanding their knowledge in audiology and/or hearing science. 

Eligibility for this award includes students who have not previously won the award and who are currently enrolled in a clinical doctoral degree program (AuD), a research doctoral degree program (PhD), or a combined clinical doctoral/research doctoral degree program (AuD/PhD. 

The objectives of this award are to learn about the latest research in audiology; make connections with leaders in the field; meet and network with peers; learn about mechanisms and strategies to further research interests and to experience the ASHA Convention.

Ms. Kleban received a stipend of $500 and a complimentary registration for the ASHA Annual Convention.  Congratulations Katherine for a job well done!
