Autism Awareness Month

Wendy Padykula, MA, CCC-SLP will speak with us about an opportunity for our students to take part in Joey Travolta’s Short Film Camp, this Summer and get clinical hours.

Joey is John Travolta’s brother and the program is very exciting. It is a film writing and making camp for children on the autism spectrum. It promises to be a great, informative and wonderful evening. Along with Wendy, you will have an opportunity to meet one of the campers, a mom of one of the campers and other representatives of the autism community. There will be a discussion of Marblejam Kids (a 501c3 organization) and how they are a part of this exciting venture. Please don’t miss out. The clinician speaker series is designed to expand on our student-clinician’s learning “outside the classroom”. We encourage and appreciate all of our students’ attendance at these events. Feel free to bring a friend. There will be refreshments and raffles for free items, too!!
