Two Audiology Faculty Elected Officers

Dr. Janet Koehnke, Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders has been elected President of the New Jersey Academy of Audiology (NJAA). The mission of the NJAA is to promote the profession of audiology in New Jersey; this includes facilitating the ability of the members to diagnose, remediate, and prevent hearing and balance disorders by providing professional education and raising public awareness of audiology. Dr. Maris Appelbaum, Clinical Preceptor and Director of the Assistive Device Dispensary at the MSU Center for Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology was elected as the NJAA Vice President for Continuing Education. The annual conference of the Academy will be held at MSU on October 26th.
