Laurie Romei and Yunfang Zheng, doctoral students in the audiology program, were each selected to receive travel awards to participate in the Mentored Student Research Poster Session at the upcoming annual meeting of the American Auditory Society. The American Auditory Society (AAS) has developed this program in order to recognize doctoral student research in audiology and related fields. This year 15 students nationwide including these Montclair State University students received these awards. They will present their research posters to researchers, clinicians and their fellow students at the meeting in Scottsdale, AZ March 4-6, 2010.
The funding for this program is provided through a grant to the AAS from the National Institutes of Health.
