A Conversation Between First Gen Faculty, Staff, and Students, and Students’ Family Members
The First Gen Faculty and Staff Initiative invites students and prospective students who are the first in their family to attend college and their families to join in conversation on Wednesday, March 22nd at 6 p.m. via Zoom. First Gen Faculty and Staff will engage with students discussing the experience of being First Gen. Topics include whether pursuing a college degree is worth it, the difficulty and satisfaction of navigating two different worlds, how First Gen students and their parents can support each other through this experience, and things we wished we knew as college students.
