Dr. Kate E. Temoney Travels to Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The biennial meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) was hosted in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in July 2019. Dr. Kate E. Temoney presented a paper at the conference titled “Genocide Studies: The Theoretical Perspectives and Prospectives of a Postsecular Turn.” Founded in 1994, the IAGS “is a global, interdisciplinary, non-partisan organization that seeks to further research and teaching about the nature, causes, and consequences of genocide, and advance policy studies on genocide prevention….A central aim of the Association is to draw academics, activists, artists, genocide survivors, journalists, jurists, public policy makers, and other colleagues into the interdisciplinary study of genocide.”
