German Minor Emily Wong Wins 2023-2024 Fulbright to Germany

German Minor Emily Wong has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to teach in Bavaria, Germany for the 2023-2024 academic year. She will teach 12 hours a week while pursuing her own projects as well. Emily is graduating in spring 2023 with a a major in Music Education and a minor in German. As part of the German program’s “SPARK for German Lab” run by Dr. Pascale LaFountain, she taught German with other play-based content weekly in a local elementary school alongside her interdisciplinary coursework. The Fulbright is a prestigious award that comes with a stipend for the full year of living abroad post-graduation.
