The Council of Representatives is the legislative body of APA. The Council is composed of representatives of divisions, state, provincial and territorial psychological associations (SPTAs) and the members of the Board of Directors.
Fuentes elected to serve on the American Psychological Association’s Council of Representatives

Milton A. Fuentes, professor and coordinator of Undergraduate Advising for Psychology, was elected to serve on the American Psychological Association’s Council of Representatives, representing Division 45: the Society for the Psychological Study of Culture, Ethnicity and Race. The division promotes public welfare through research and encourages professional relationships among psychologists who share these concerns and interests.
