Conversation with Michael Cryor ’70 MA, ’12 Hon

On Wednesday, November 30, Brigid Harrison, Chair of Political Science & Law, will be joined by Michael Cryor ’70 MA, ’12 Hon for a Q&A session to discuss his impressive career path which includes a distinguished place in United States politics.
Cryor, a veteran political and community activist, has just served as an advisor to Governor-Elect Wes Moore’s historic campaign in Maryland and will be joining his transition team. He also worked on Joe Biden’s first presidential campaign and was the first African American State Party Chair (Maryland). An instrumental figure in Baltimore’s urban renewal plan, Cryor is known as a thoughtful and deliberate collaborator, an inspiring mentor and a deeply respected member of the Baltimore community.
Cryor, a strong advocate of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and an alumni of the MS in Developmental Psychology, will be recognized as the CHSS Distinguished Alumni and Speaker at the 2023 Convocation Ceremonies.
