This is part 1 of a 5-part series. In these conversations, Montclair State campus members meet and learn from a range of experts in the area of language revitalization. The aim is to learn best practices for curriculum development and community engagement around language revitalization. These efforts will contribute to the new Native American and Indigenous Studies (NAIS) minor, set to launch Fall 2022, and to emerging collaborations between the campus and area tribal communities.
This series is sponsored by generous support from the CHSS Dean’s Office Interdisciplinary Initiatives. The series is organized by the Departments of Anthropology, Linguistics and World Languages and Cultures.
