CWE Workshops for Students in the Teacher Ed. Program

Posted in: Center for Writing Excellence

The Center for Writing Excellence is holding two workshops for students in the Teacher Education program, April 5th & 6th:

April 5th: Impromptu Writing Workshop, 1-2:30pm, Sprague Library, Special Collections room (top floor, near the stairs).
This workshop is designed specifically for students and applicants of the Education program who will be taking the impromptu writing exam. Writing a timed essay under pressure can give even the best writers trouble. Our workshop will provide you with tools that will help you write a successful impromptu essay.

April 6th: Writing for Teachers Workshop, 5-7pm, Sprague Library, room 31 (1st floor).
This workshop is designed specifically for Teacher Education Program applicants who want to develop, enrich, and further understand how to write in the discipline. Our workshop will familiarize you with key education terms and provide an opportunity for you to continue thinking about your personal goals, philosophy, and perspectives as a future teacher.
