Spring 2025 Writing Workshops

This overview will help familiarize you with MLA citations—an important part of academic writing in areas of the humanities such as English, Foreign Language and Literatures, Literary Criticism, and Cultural Studies. We will also review updates included in the 9th edition. Bring your Works Cited pages and questions for extra help.

Chicago Manual of Style–NEW 18th edition Updates

This overview will help familiarize you with Chicago citations and the new updates to the 18th edition. CMS style is often used for writing in history, music, justice studies, philosophy, the arts, social sciences, religion, international studies, and more.  Bring your own papers or Bibliography pages for extra help.
