Summer Hours: May 13-August 30

The Center for Writing Excellence is open all summer long with both online and face-to-face appointments available. We will be open Monday through Friday from May 13 to August 30. The CWE supports all writers of Montclair State whether you are an undergraduate student, graduate student, staff, faculty, or alumni.

We are here to help with all your writing needs including class assignments, workplace writing, personal statements, cover letters and resumes, theses and dissertations, Praxis preparation, creative writing, improving general writing skills, and more. SUMMER SESSIONS 2024
May 13 – August 30
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11am-7pm (face-to-face and online)
Friday: 11am-4pm (online only)

During the summer we will be CLOSED on SATURDAY and SUNDAY and the following dates:
May 27 (Memorial Day)
Friday, June 21: (Juneteenth Observed)
July 4-5 (Independence Day)
August 30-September 2

Our fall 2024 schedule will begin on September 3.

Inclement Weather Notice: In the event of inclement weather, all appointments will be moved online. Please see the CWE Emergency Contingency Plan or check our CWE Facebook page for changes to our schedule. When the university closes due to an emergency, the CWE will move all appointments online whenever possible.
