Young Writers Workshop at the Little Falls Library
Posted in: Center for Writing Excellence
The Center for Writing Excellence will hold the inaugural meeting of its Young Writers Workshop at the Little Falls Library on July 10, 2014. This workshop, which will meet once a week for five weeks, is intended to help young writers build relationships with other young writers, learn how to give and receive in-depth feedback, and develop a complete draft of their own work. CWE consultants will work with these writers one-on-one in order to help them grow as writers and readers. The final meeting of the workshop will take place on the Montclair State University campus, where workshop participants will share their writing at a public reading scheduled for August 7, 2014 at 4:30pm in Cohen Lounge (Dickson Hall).
This is the CWE’s latest community writing project; we are also currently working with members of the Louis & Dorothy Druian Fellowship Circle at Temple Ner Tamid in Bloomfield, NJ, for the fourth installment of the Center for Writing Excellence Seminar for Lifelong Learners.
