CWE Inclement Weather Policy

In the case of dangerous weather conditions, the Center for Writing Excellence will move to online appointments from 10am-1pm. If the University remains open, the CWE will open at 1:00pm for face-to-face and online appointments. You can always view our schedule to see the status of your appointment. Appointments scheduled for face-to-face meetings will be changed to online sessions until 1:00pm. If the University is closed, all appointments will be changed to online sessions.

Online appointments are done in real time, through a chat feature; to schedule an online appointment, log in to our schedule montclair.mywconline.com, choose your appointment and select “Yes – Meet Online”. (Make sure you allow pop-ups!)
At your appointment start time, log in to the schedule, click on your appointment and then select the red link that says, “Start or Join Online Consultation.” You then copy and paste your paper into the large box in the center of your session screen. Type your comments to your consultant in the box in the lower right corner.
