Effective July 1, 2023, the College of Education and Human Services was divided into two separate and distinctive entities: the College for Community Health, and the College for Education and Engaged Learning.
The College for Community Health is designed to prepare the next generation of community health professionals to meet the imperative for health equity. It includes Counseling, Family Science and Human Development, Kinesiology, Nutrition and Food Studies, and Public Health. In addition the new college includes Communication Sciences and Disorders, previously housed in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Ideally positioned to align with current trends and to adapt to future change, the College for Education and Engaged Learning includes Educational Foundations, Educational Leadership, and Teaching and Learning, and will also allow for the creation of new academic offerings to meet the evolving needs of our state and nation.
