Donna Duardo Receives Outstanding Dietetic Educator Award

Donna Duardo, MA, RDN, Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, was awarded the 2023 Nutrition and Dietetic Educators and Preceptors (NDEP) North East Region Outstanding Dietetic Educator Award in the RDN-DI category for her years of service and dedication to the preparation of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists. The purpose of the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award is to recognize the teaching, mentoring, and leadership activities of faculty in ACEND-accredited dietetics education programs.  

In addition to being with Montclair State University in the Dietetic Internship Program for 14 years, Donna has also taught courses as an adjunct instructor and is an alumna of the university. Additionally, Donna works as a Clinical Dietitian at Hackensack University Medical Center and has held multiple leadership positions within the New Jersey Academy of Nutrition of Dietetics.  

The award will be presented at the NDEP annual spring meeting in March 2023. Congratulations to Donna on receiving this well-deserved recognition!
