Dr. Zoë Burkholder to Speak at Brown v. Board National Historic Park 30th Anniversary

Dr. Zoë Burkholder, Educational Foundations Professor, will speak at the upcoming Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Park in Topeka, Kansas, for a special event commemorating the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park. The event will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Dr. Burkholder is a historian of education with expertise in antiracist education. She recently authored An African American Dilemma., for which she received the 2022 Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award from the Society of Professors of Education (SPE). Dr. Burkholder also appeared on The Oxford Comment, hosted by Oxford University Press as part of Black History Month, where she examined issues around education, integration, and segregation through scholarship.
