“If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.”
My dream is to be an elementary school special education teacher who fosters a classroom that embraces diversity and encourages a stable learning environment to inspire all of my students. One day, I aspire to be a principal or vice-principal of an elementary school. I want to continue my education and eventually make my dream since a little girl, become a reality. I want to be as educated as possible and be as involved as I can within the community in which I become a teacher. Learning how to become a special education teacher is something that keeps me going every day at Montclair State. I am constantly learning so much about inclusive classrooms, disabilities, discrimination, advocacy, and much more. I hope to strive and excel within my classes in order to achieve all the educational goals I have and to make an impact that lasts in this crazy, hectic world.
