Former Dietetic Intern Christina Frescki Named a Fellow of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Christina Frescki, MBA, RD, FAND and a former Dietetic Intern at Montclair State University, was recently honored by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics by being named a Fellow to the Academy. As a Clinical Dietitian at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, Christina treats inpatients, outpatients, cardiac rehab and pulmonary rehab patients. She is an active member of the RWJ Rahway Medical Advisory Panel and provides nutritional counseling services to local food pantries. Christina hosts monthly public lectures at the Scotch Plains RWJ Rahway Fitness and Wellness center and offers members nutrition counseling. Local support groups, such as breast cancer and fibromyalgia groups, have invited Christina to meetings to provide pertinent nutritional information and education. She has acted as the Policy and Procedures Chair for the NJAND since 2015.
